Bhadrak inscription of Gana

This inscriptions in Prakrit languages has been assigned to the 2- century A.D. The stone slab on which it was engraved was found from the vicinity of Bhadrak town of Balasore district. The inscription reveals that the three idols and also eighty measure of land granted by Mulajapa in the regional year 8 of the illustrious Maharaja Gana were apportioned in a locality called Panda and accepted by the venerable Agisama (Agni Sarman), the Mahakulapati Bhada (Bhadra), (Apavarsha?) Ma hasara (Mahasara), Ghali and Adasama (Atasarman).
